Switzerland in early Feb

Without too much planning/thinking, my girlfriend and I are going to spend a 4 day weekend in Switzerland before flying out of Zurich on a Monday (coming down from Frankfurt). We've never been and know it will be cold (we live in Chicago). Assuming we start and end in Zurich, any thoughts on how to spend 4 nights in Switzerland? We were thinking of spending 1 day skiing but otherwise just want to see some cool things without hustling all over the place. Unless it doesn't make sense, will be traveling by train and maybe a Marriott property (flexible on hotels vs. AirBnb). Leaning towards staying away from Geneva but only because it seems like a bit of a hike from Zurich. Thanks in advance!

Coming down from Frankfurt, it doesn't make much sense to pass through Zurich twice.
Take a direct train from Frankfurt to
Basel (2 3/4 hrs),
Bern ( (4 hrs),
Interlaken (5 hrs),
Lucerne (4 hrs),
Bellinzona (6 hrs),
visit this town and begin your Switzerland adventure there.

BTW: Geneva is 5 3/4 hrs by train or 1 hr by plane from Frankfurt (plus about 3 hrs for check in and land transport on both sides).

Good food, seeing some sites, drinking some wine and 1 day of skiing. Probably visit a spa for my girlfriend. We like the outdoors but won't be doing any hiking on this trip. We love seeing the countryside while on the train.

I like neckervd suggestion of going from Frankfurt to maybe Lucerne or Interlaken and then we could work our way back to Zurich for our flight home.

Thanks!

If you can fit it into your schedule then be sure to visit Lauterbrunnen, It is surely one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland.

Lauterbrunnen is extremely popular with American and Asian tourists, but certainly not among the most beautiful places of Switzerland.
