Day 3, Monday- Either we do a day trip to Thun (boat ride) or we visit Ballenberg Open Air Museum>
How about a boat trip on Lake Brienz - to Brienz then bus or taxi to Ballenberg- just a few kms from Brienz?

We visited Lauterbrunnen – Murren – Schilthorn (stayed one night in Murren) with our one-year old and had the best time! Our son loved the cable cars and staying in car-free and absolutely beautiful Murren was one of the best experiences we have had. We have also done the lake Geneva drive and stayed in Montreaux (that was a child-free trip) and I would def rate Murren higher than that. It is gorgeous, getting there in the gondolas is fun with beautiful views and just relaxing in Murren was great!
