" From Lucern to Einsiedeln, changing train at Biberbrugg, the allowed time is 2 min. Can we possibly miss the connecting train with 2 min changing time? "

Yes, you can if you walk out of the railway station instead of boarding the Einsiedeln bound train just in front of the Vorapenexpress.

" From us weather forecast, during our 15 day itinerary in June, there will be 11 days with rains, the rest 4 days with clouds, these forecast may not be 100% accurate, but can predict mostly (used them in the past). It seems to be a rainny month. Even doubt we should make the trip"
The SWISS meteorological instituts make NEVER forecasts for the alpinw area for periods more than 2 weeks ahead.
As a general rule, June is among the most rainy months, Lucerne and Bernese Oberland get more rain than Valais (absolute minimum around Sierre/Crans-Montana) or Basel and there ar big changes from year to year.
Last year was astonishingly dry and warm whereas the current year seems to be rather "normal".

Thank you everyone for your responses, concerns and suggestions- the best thing to do is to go with the popular opinions and take this trip. Believe all the preparations (tremendous help from this tread, homework ) and luck (a couple of good days at alps) will make this a wonderful trip.

If on route from Grindelwald to Lucern like this:

"Grindelwald – Interlaken Ost (train) 9:19 -9:53
Interlaken Ost – Brienz (see) Lake Brienz cruise 10:07-11:20
Store the luggage at Brienz train station (locker open time: 08:20 - 11:40, 13:20 - 17:45)
Brienz BRB 11:45 – Rothorn 12:45
Rothorn 15:28 - Brienz BRB 16:32
Brienz 17:25 – Lucerne 18:55"

Will 25 min be enough to store the luggages at Brienz train station, get to the Brienzrothornbahn station and catch the BRB up to Rothorn at 11:45? Reading on Rothorn website, they suggest arriving 30 min earlier in order to board next train up. Is this necessary? Thanks

Well if I recall rightly the two stations are adjacent to each other - only problem is a small station like Brienz having empty lockers - check to see if Brienz station also has a manual luggage service and hours of opening. Or for about 15 francs a bag you can ship bags ahead on trains to any hotel or train station or any address.

It may be necessary to arrive 30 mins prior at Rothorn only because of long lines or before train sells out. Email Rothorn Bahn and Brienz station about answers to those questions - not sure neckervd even would know.

How long will you be in the BO area?

IIRC, BO pass could pay for itself (doesn't include Jungfrau or Schilthorn but I think it included pretty much everything else).

Of course you need good weather to go to all the venues. One of them was a cruise on the lakes and it included Rothorn.

They have a wide-ranging long trip in Switzerland so have decided on The Swiss Travel Pass.

I bought a BO Pass in addition to the HFC last year.

Figured I would gt around to enough places that it would pay for itself. I went up Harder Klum twice, on different days, with better weather.

Pass does cover entry fees to 470 + sights and museums - could be a factor or not.

Updated info shows PANORAMIC MONT-BLANC gondola lift won't be open until June 15, so will have to miss the Pointe Hellbronner part of the ride.

Any suggestions as to the best way to come down from Aiguille du Midi ? Thanks!

Thank you @ neckervd
The La Maison Carrier (restaurant at Chamonix) recommended above long ago seems open? Because there are recent google reviews (March and April), however their website can not be open. We can also find out when we are there.

Don't understand how to use webcams, did not see the weather report only video.

Webcams show you the actual weather conditions for the place you want to visit or near it.

Weather forecast sites may show a place is partly cloudy but a webcam can show it's actually raining or it's sunny there.

You can go to a weather forecast site for visiting a mountain peak like Jungfrau or Mont Blanc but a webcam will show you whether it's actually clear up there.

What are you going to trust, a weather site that is calculating the forecast based on modeling for a region or a camera showing exactly what it looks like at the place you want to go to?
