Super market like walmart in France? Specially in Nice?

Hello...

While traveling from NY to Amsterdam, Delta airlines damaged one of our bags... We have travelled so far from Amsterdam to Paris, and will be going to Nice tomorrow. We wanted to get a new carry on bag, but were lazy to do so in Amsterdam or in Paris.. But now in Nice we will have to as we have further plans of traveling to italy..

Can anyone suggest some good and budget superstore like Walmart in France/ in Nice that probably will have decent/budget carry on bags? Is E.Leclerc a superstore that might have bags?

Thanks..

Ther are masses of bag shops in Nice that will meet your needs. Trouble with superstores like Leclerc, Auchan and Carrefour is that they are located in the suburbs, inconvenient for those without a car.

Here's some websites that might help you. Looks like there are several Carrefour locations in Nice.

Carrefour is not like Walmart - better quality - but you can get just about anything from the big ones. Do take your own bags if you have them, or buy one the first time you visit and reuse it. Sure turns heads at the local Krogers.

sorry - just actually READ the OP. Yep. They have replacement luggage-type bags. You can also find them in markets.

Thanks a lot all of you..as you mentioned we were able to see some local bag shops in Nice, and were able to buy some local brand for the rest of our trip. I hope this one will last atleast the rest of our trip
