Sunday in Barcelona
I would appreciate any suggestions for a really good or even great restaurant or tapas bar for dinner on a Sunday. Every place I check seems to be closed that day.

When I arrived in Barcelona on a Sunday last summer, we had lunch at Els Quatre Gats and dinner at Set Portes. Both very good.
Els Quatre Gats, C/Montsio 3
telephone 93 302 41 40

Set Portes, Passeig d'Isabel II, 14
telephone 93 319 30 33

And in February we enjoyed Cerveseria Catalana, a great tapas place in the Eixample, so much that we went twice. It is open daily from 9 AM to 2 AM.
Cerveseria Catalana, Mallorca 236, Tel. +34 93 216 0368

We just returned and I posted a trip report here. Not sure which restaurants I loved are or aren't open on Sunday, but you can probably goggle them and find out. We ate at El Quartre Gats last time and we didn't care for it that much.
Trip report can be seen at:

Sunday dining
El Born area eateries are wide open and packed to the rafters. In Barceloneta, the fishermen’s quarter, seafood restaurants are open and bustling for lunch, closing between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. On the seaside promenade of the Port Olimpic, Agua, of the Tragaluz group, serves from 1:30 – 5:00 pm and again from 8:30 - midnight.
In the Eixample, you’ll find that the touristy tapas bars on the Passeig de Gracia never close, but light years better are the reliable El Trobador, La Tramoia and Tenorio brasseries, which are always good bets.
The following attractive and upscale restaurants stay open for dinner on Sundays: La Camarga & sister La Provenza plus L’Olivé and cousin Paco Meralgo and Tragaluz plus another member of the group, El Principal.

travelphile,
You are both right and wrong. It is the name of an area, like you indicate but also there is a restaurant by that name . This is the website:

Anybody has gone to it? Thanks!
