suggest an itinerary for 1 week in Spain
Hi! we'll be in Spain from July 5-12, can someone suggest must-see, must-do? We want to include Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Ibiza. Ideas on how many days, where to stay, what to do welcome. Thank you!

Your trip would be seen from the inside of planes and airports.
Read about Madrid and Barcelona and split the time between them according to your interests. Be sure to look a the towns near Madrid.

We will be in Madrid from July 9 to 13 (first time) and believe that all we can visit is Madrid. I look forward to seeing the others' suggestions. Rick Steves Europe has good writers that are quite helpful, also.

At most! 2 places - Brcelona alone is good for a week but splitting the time to inclued Madrid works too - or you could add either Ibiza or Valencia to Barcelona. As to what to do, we need to have some idea of your interests, or better yet, get a guide book!

A good mix might be, simply go to Barcelona, and spend two days in IBiza. It seems you really what to include IBIZa.
Barcelo is an exciting place and now has some nice beaches too, sif you settle for its beaches
you can leave Ibiza out of the picture.

ditto what graziella said.
if you can work it into your itinerary, the night ferry from barcelona to ibiza could be an alternative to flying - at least for one leg. You save one night at a hotel, and get a "cruise" on top
