Stupid question about visa debit/credit/atm card.
I have just applied for and recvd a visa debit/atm card for my travel to Europe this coming spring. On the back in says CIRRUS. When I do a search for atm's in Prague under visa they show a ton of visa atm with PLUS network while mastercard with CIRRUS only shows two.
My question:
Can I use this card ANYWHERE the atm has CIRRUS logo even though the machine says master card?

Most bank ATM machines take a variety of those services. I've never seen one that didn't have all those logos on them (VISA, MC, CIRRUS and PLUS). If it has a CIRRUS logo on the back, I think you are supposed to be able to use it in any ATM that also has one. I've never seen a bank ATM in Prague or elsewhere that only had a MC logo and not VISA.

Since fraud is so high now, remember to call you credit cards that you plan on using and let them know the dates you will be in each city. This way your card will not be denied while there. My credit card/atm companies told me that and I have had no problems since.

You need to find an ATM that displays BOTH the visa logo and the Cirrus logo to use. At least that is what happens with my M/C with cirrus logo. I cannot access funds if the ATM doesn't have both the MC and CIRRUS logo.
