The Hotel Rohan in Strasbourg is a great 3 star on a pedestrian street right across from the beautiful cathedral. It's reasonable, comfortable, attractive, and couldn't be better located for exploring the town. Check it out on a search engine.

I second the vote for the Hotel des Rohan. Its perfect. The only thing you must know is that it is in the pedestyrian zone so you have to park in the public car park and the hotel will assist you with your luggage if necessary. http://www.hotel-rohan.com/

Another reasonably priced hotel in Strasbourg is the Hotel de L'Europe. It's by the "Petite France" area and a good location for walking to many attractions. Our room was pleasant and the staff was very helpful.
