Strasborg Airport into Town
Hi All,
Thinking of flying into Entzheim (SXB)
There seem to be
1. a shuttle that goes to a tram that goes into town, about 7E.
2. a train from Entzheim to Strasbourg gare about 2E.
Taxi and limo.
Any experience taking the train or shuttle/tram into town?
Costs of taxis and limos?
Any other suggestions?

Hi Ira
August last year we took a taxi from the airport to our home exchange accommodation (just outside Strasbourg old town centre) and it cost us around 50 Euro. The taxi driver was using a GPS, so I can only assume we weren't taken on a 'Cooks Tour' route.
We opted for the taxi because we were arriving after dark in a strange city and had no idea of public transport connections, etc.
Strasbourg gare is very user-friendly with elevators, escalators etc - in fact since its recent renovations the exterior cover is quite architecturally spectacular! (We passed through in May this year).
Trams and buses connect on the concourse outside, or it is quite a short, flat walk to the centre of the old town.
Guess it might depend on where your accommodation is and what time you plan to arrive.
Happy travels, Di

My wife and I just did this in reverse:

No problems and much less than a taxi or limo.
