How to get from Fatih to SAW airport safely, efficiently, and cheaply
My friend and I are staying in Fatih, and she and I are leaving Istanbul from different airports. I'm a bit nervous about the solo-travel at that point. I need to figure out the best way to get to SAW, and I am a bit clueless how to do this. I do have an evening flight, so I'll leave plenty of time, but I want to make sure I avoid certain spots (ie Taksim) to accomplish this task. What are my options? Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks otherchelebi! I did just that, and they have their own service for 55 euros, but also said havatas or a taxi. They mentioned that Havatas includes a taxi to Taksim, and from taksim, I'd use the shuttle to the airport--I'm thinking I should stay away from that however. In an older forum, someone mentioned this airport shuttle as well: http://www.sabihagokcenairportshuttle.com not sure if it's reputable or not.

Havatas does not use Taksim at this time due to the protests but has moved its stop to Kasimpasa.
I do not know that specific transfer company but shuttles are usually dependable although not very cheap.
Check for IDO Seabus from Yenikapi to Bostanci schedule and consider a taxi from there if you do not have more than one piece of luggage. This will be the fastest route.
Fatih - Yenikapi : Taxi
Yenikapi - Bostanci : IDO sea bus
Bostanci - SAW : Taxi
