Storms in Sardinia

I am aware that quite a few posters have visited Sardinia, I have many times.

I was extremely sad to read this :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24996292

Storms have hit Sicily in the past with severe flooding but in this area, it is not usual for the, to be so intense.

Sorry sight to see Arzachena under water.

440mm is horrible, I've seen 160mm in a day in Majorca and that was desperate, 440...

I think I was in Majorca that day.

To think, 3 years ago I was in Sardnia, swimming in the sea, in the last week of October.

Britain has had very little wind this year, is this the mysterious "jet stream"?

Yorkshire was very windy last winter.

Excess CO2 makes it all dangerous. See Philipines

Yorkshire has always had plenty of hot air.

Usually coming from Sir Geoffrey.
