storing suitcases in Frankfurt 15 days

hi
my husband and I need to store two 20" wheelie suitcases for 15 days while we take a cosmos eastern europe bus tour depart frankfurt, arrive frankfurt. have just found out they will not allow wheelie cases as hand luggage on the bus. we can manage without them for 15 days and just use our large cases and a back pack. you many well ask why take them at all but we are on a 7 week holiday of North America and Europe and need the extra space for presents for friends etc we are staying with enroute & hand luggage on planes. I did send an email to the hotel we are leaving from in Frankfurt a few weeks ago to ask if we could pay to store them there but got no reply. could it be no-one speaks English? I don't speak any German. the hotel is Holiday Inn Frankfurt City. I also read on previous thread that maybe the train station would store it but is that more a 24 hr storage or would they do it for 15 days? thanks Kerry

If all else fails, you can leave luggage at the Frankfurt airport for up to three months:

If all else fails, I took a tour once and saw that people had brought huge suitcases and packed the next size down inside the really big one.

If it is the Holiday Inn Frankfurt City South, it is a four-star hotel, and according to the German Hotel and Resaurant Association (DEHOGA) hotels with three stars or more must have people on the staff who speak English.

You can either store your luggage in a self-storage locker "Gepäckschließfach", (for a normal size locker from Euro 30 per month, mid-size from E 45/mo, large size from E 60/mo), or take it to an attended storage locker "Gepäckaufbewahrung" at a cost of Euro 2-3 per piece/day.

We stored carseats we used on the plane at FRA at the train station connected to the airport. We checked them with an attendant and left them there for 2 weeks.
