What is the best way to get from Stockholm to Vastervik and then back again to catch our flight? My husband does not like driving in other countries and there will be 6 of us with luggage.

If there is train service schedules can be found at www.bahn.de - the German rail site that has schedules for all European towns and burgs with rail service. And the easiest i've seen to use

I would recommend you to go by expressbus. Itīs probably the easiest, fastest and cheapest way of travelling between Stockholm and Västervik.

I've looked through and I don't find any connection from Stockholm to Vastervik. I think you have to take a train from Stockholm to Linkoping and then take a train from one of the commuting trains.

This site is listed as being Swedish but I'm sure part is in English.

I know your husband doesn't want to drive in Sweden but it looks like Minnesota except the signs are in Swedish. From Stockholm to Vastervik with a car is four hours.
