Hello everyone,

As I'm planning a trip back to Scandinavia this year, I have changed my original idea and will not be stopping in Norway this time around.

My question is, we want to travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm, and I wanted to know what the different options were and what experiences everyone has had making this trip. The easiest option is, of course, a quick flight. But what are my options as far as a ferry? Do they only run overnight...and who are the carriers?

To my knowledge there are <b>no</b> ferries operating between Copenhagen and Stockholm.
You would have to drive, fly or take the train.

Just reconfirmed. No ferries from CPH to STO.

Where would we have to take the ferry to in Sweden? Then I suppose we'd have to take train to the actual city of Stockholm?

No ferry involved. There's a train all the way. The high-speed train only takes aboiut 5 1/4 hours. Schedules at www.resplus.se (that's the Swedish site; I'm sure there must be a Danish site, too). Click on English at top of page; then enter Kobenhavn to Stockholm as route.
