Staying in St Remy

We are flying to Avignon at the end of the month for a 5 day break, we are thinking of using St Remy as a base. Can anyone recommend a good holel in the village please, or, suggest anywhere they think may be an alternative. We have never been to this area before.
Thanks, Mike and Sue

Everyone speaks highly of Mas des Carassins but they were booked one of the nights we wanted to stay. We booked instead at Villa Glanum for our trip this September, which is slightly outside the city (from my understanding). If you do a search on the forum for "St. Remy hotel", you will find lots of feedback. And if you can find any post by StuDudley, you will find his advice highly valuable!

Don't know if you were being snarky in your 2nd post, but just in case you didn't know, "ttt" means "to the top", so maitaitom was trying to help you out by bumping your post up to the top.

I stay at L'Hotel Ls Ateliers de L'Image. It's right in town on the main street . It was once a movie theater.

Obviously no good deed goes unpunished. Don't worry, I won't help you anymore.

I stayed at Chateau L'Alpilles in St. Remy and thought it was fabulous. The grounds were beautiful yet it was very close to the center of town. I had a mid price range room which was very large and beautifully appointed. Great bed and large, new bathroom. The restaurant was excellent and very friendly helpful staff.

We also stayed at the Chateau L'Alpilles several years ago and were very happy with the location - not in walking distance to town, but a very short, easy drive.
