If you take the auto route you can do it within an hour and a half as there no speed limit and provided you don't stay behind trucks or caravans(campers)

If you'll be heading for the airport from l'Isle sur la Sorgue, you should count on an hour and a half (time to get to the A7 autoroute and then on to Marignane airport)

If you're leaving from St Remy, it should take you about an hour.
The airport itself is easy to navigate, as is returning a rental car.

Mimi,

Just a correction - there IS a speed limit on the highways here. 130kmph... and the fines have gotten pretty heavy for speeding (especially for going 20 kms and above, over the limit).

I stand corrected, Patricia, thank you
I don't drive and it seems like there is no limit as they whizz by.

Thank you both for you help, that gives me a reasonable time to look around the market, and not have to break the speed limit,
Donie.
