I have no info about St Ivo or any other church, but in my experience churches are open to the public for masses, and all are welcome. So attending an easter mass would be an option. I would not put all my chips on it being open for visitors outside of mass time.... Likely they haven't decided this far in advance...
If you don't want to go to mass, my advice would be to hope it's open, but don't be surprised if it's not...

Could be! They are normally open for a couple of hours only on Sunday, and then for mass, so it might be like that for easter too. I wouldn't want to take someone's spot for the mass, particularly on Easter (it's not a huge space, just an incredible one!) so am hoping that in spite of the holiday the doors will still be open. Thanks for your reply : )

St. Ivo alla Sapienza is typically only open for a limited time on Sundays, but special occasions like Easter might affect its schedule. It is best to verify directly with local sources closer to your visit date. The Easter Sunday schedule may vary depending on specific liturgical activities. Consider checking with the official Rome tourism site or contacting the church itself for confirmation of Easter hours, would b better.
