Splurge hotel in Naples?
We will be celebrating a big anniversary in Naples next month. I've been looking at Grand Hotel Vesuvio and The Excelsior. Anything else we should consider? I'm looking for luxurious, but not pretentious. Thanks!

Would this suit? I had a good stay a few years ago. You could take the junior suite.

Ekscrunchy-- That looks like a great place. I love Piazza di Martire. As many times as I've been in Naples, I don't know anything about hotel, except how they look on the outside. We always freeload on my wife's family on our trips to Napoli. However, we went to a wedding at the Grand Hotel Parker, on Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle, and I was really impressed.

So funny! I was just looking at pics of The Grand Hotel Parker, but it's sooo expensive and thankfully(!!) is booked anyway for our dates.
No thoughts on the two hotels I've mentioned?
