I would love to know what your final itinerary was. How many nights did you spend in each place? In hindsight, is there anything you would do differently?

Short response - 3 Hvar perfect. 4 Split - could have been 3 if you don't want to go to Plivice Lakes - 3 in Brac (could have been 4 - very relaxing, but 3 was fine). 2 in Dubrovnik - should have been 3.

You should start a new thread for a trip report. Also, there will be a place for you to check off "trip report" so the airplane symbol will be attached, and people will know it's a trip report.

I have a tentative itinerary, and right now I am planning on 4 nights in Split because we will do one or two day trips from Split. We will most likely visit Hvar (or Brac) for a day from Split. Because we will be there in late April/early May, I don't really want to spend a lot of time on the islands, so I think one day will be fine. We will spend one night at Plitvice Lakes; 3 nights in Dubrovnik to include a drive around Bay of Kotor; 2 nights in Zagreb; and 3 nights in Ljubljana. I haven't made reservations yet, so I can tweak our itinerary if necessary. Eager to read what you have to say about the places you stayed at and sites you saw!
