Spain.......Malaga to Fez...

Anyone recently made this journey? Only have a few days at the end of March......Flying into Malaga for 7 days.....thinking about going to Morocco...? Do not enjoy touristy, but appreciate authentic culture......also needs to be budget friendly....is it worth it or shall I stay in southern Spain??, Appreciate any input/opinions!

Is that 7 days total? If so, forget Fez.

If you ony have 7 days, stay in Spain. Lots to see and do there.

We've gone Fez to Granada via public transport (bus, ferry, train over several stops in between) and while it's doable, the others are right. You really wouldn't have any time in either place with the logistics of going between them. Not sure if plane is possible from Malaga, so that you might have a couple of days in each place, but going by overland wouldn't make much sense.

When you do make it to Morocco though, Fes is a great choice.
