How much time to should I spend in Spain and where to go? My husband and I are traveling to Spain and London for a total of ten days. We are going to Barcelona, Madrid and London. What other city should we add in there? I really would like to see a bull fight and learn how to flamenco dance. As of right now I dont have a set itinerary. Starting in Barcelona and leaving out of London.
Looking for great food and entertainment.

In 10 days I wouldn't add any other cities, in fact I'd take away out either Madrid or Barcelona. London is big, and if you've never been there, you need several days just to scratch the surface. Madrid is more compact so 3 full days is adequate. I can't speak for Barcelona (going in Nov for 1 week).

Do the 10 days include the flying days?

We did a Madrid/London trip. We spend 4 nights in each city (which comes to about 3 full day of sight-seeing). We could have easily spent more time in both.

Agree that in only 10 days 3 cities is really pushing it - since you lose so much time in travel between them. Two would be much better - more than 3 would just be a waste of time and money.

You are doing too much as it is. Do you intend to learn flamenco on the ninth day between churros and lunch? For a second I thought this posting was put on.

Well I dont know if I will ever make it back to Spain so I'm just trying to get as much in. Maybe I will just go to a flamenco show instead of the lessons.

If you jam to much in there it will all be a blur. You need to to soak it all in.

I once spent 10 days in Barcelona and never felt the need to take a trip outside to see many of the attractions around the place.
Still each to their own--- But I too would suggsts just two cities.
