Spain diving
Hey!
Me and my family are going to Spain this October. We are trying to choose place for diving. We were thinking about Tenerife. Is it good place for diving in fall? Could you guys recommend some dive centers on Tenerife or maybe in another part of Spain?
Thanks

I can't comment on the actual diving, but you must, by Spanish law, have an approved health certificate from a doctor qualified in dive medicine, before you are allowed to dive in Spanish waters. Some dive places can organise the medical for you, but it is not cheap, and takes day from your trip.
The seas around the Canaries can be very rough in autumn.

You do realize that Tenerife, while part of Spain, is actually an island off the coast of Morocco.
If you want diving, I would choose La Restinga instead of Tenerife.
The islands are in the path of the Gulf Stream so the water should be fine for diving. Do be aware that a tropical storm could potentially ruin your plans.

Spanish law I believes that any driver who need glasses to drive checked on their driver's license MUST carry a spare pair of spectacles in the car and roadside checks reportedly can ask for this.
Just a note to take one if you have one.

PalenQ...please read the question again..you may need glasses. ;-)
Where ever you choose ensure it is not in the area of the recently sunken boat.

Government has yet again been criticised for not handling the situation very well.
