Southern Italy in November
Due to outside circumstances I may have to visit Rome, Amalfi Coast and Sicily in November next year. Will the weather at that time of year "dampen" the pleasure of coastal trips in AC and vineyards of Sicily?

Not the best time of year for Amalfi. OK to stay in the area - Sorrento, which is a larger town and will have more hotels and restaurants open and easy access to Pompeii and museum in Naples.
Farther down the coast the smaller towns are more closed up, ferries run rarely if at all and the bus schedule i not great.
And because of weather ferries to Capri may not run at all on any particular day.
Rome should be fine as would Sicily as ong as you are not looking for beach time.

In googling wine festivals in italy in November, the following came up:
http://www.italianwinesandfood.com/e...als-italy/list
It is by region but maybe you'll see something convenient to where you are traveling.
Even though touristy things (e.g., tours, hotels) are curtailed or even cancelled, any place where people need to get to work or school will have some way to get from point A to point B. Be sure to check ahead.
