Sorrento Stay

First time to Italy and would love feedback on day trips. What are your top two?
We are traveling with a 7 year old and 10 year old and will be there for 5 days in June.

I enjoyed Pompeii, Herculaneum, and the archeological museum in Naples. But other opinions of good day trips do not take your children and their ages into account.

Pompeii, IMHO, is a must for everyone. But you need to make sure your kids understand the basics about ancient Rome.

We also love Capri - but you must go beyond the town of Capri to see other parts of the island.

Pompeii is one of my favorite sites anywhere. Also a trip down to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello is fun.
