Some questions re 6 days in Barcelona
Hello all:
in just under two weeks I will be heading to Barcelona for 6 days! I have a lot of planning to do this weekend
.
I've been to Barcelona about a dozen times, but not for a few years, so everything will be as new. Here is my list of places to visit and things to do. As you can see, I am a big fan of Gaudi and architecture
Sagrada Família
Casa Batlló
Casa Milà
Park Güell
Casa Vicens
Palau Güell
Casa Calvet
Cascada Fountain
MNAC
Fundació Joan Miró
Palau de la Música Catalana
Montjuic
Cathedral
Picasso Museum
City Museum of Barcelona
Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau
Walking all over the place
I may also do a day trip to Girona if time permits. I will probably book a Devour tapas tour (did so in Seville and Madrid and really enjoyed both) and there may be a concert or dance recital in there somewhere.
Re dining, I prefer to eat my main meal at lunchtime. I'll probably go for the Menu del Dia offers to keep the price down, as I did in Madrid, so if you have any recommendations I would appreciate.
So, questions:
1. Do you think this is doable in six days?
2. Am I missing anything obvious?
3. I am somewhat concerned re weekend crowds at this major attractions. Should I reserve the popular sites for the weekdays?
4. I will probably book tickets in advance so I can skip the lines. Are there any discount offers if I 'bulk buy'? (e.g. for Madrid I bought the year pass which allows multiple visits to all the majors museums and galliers, except the T-B)
Many thanks for your guidance.
best regards ... Ger

Four Awesome Weeks in the North of Spain and Catalunya
(1) I did all of that except the Casa Vciens and Casa Calvet in 5 days, but I did it at a pace that was not relaxed any by having everything possible reserved in advance.
(2) For my tastes: Ciutadella Park, Mercat de Santa Caterina, Sant Pau de Camp, flamenco. And Montserrat.
(3) Are you willing to have to skip seeing these places or to wait in long lines? If not, reserve.
(4) Sorry, I don't know of any.
