Software for Dell Axim PDA
I am waiting patiently for UPS to deliver my new PDA. My plan is to take it on our month long trip to Norway, England and Italy. I also got a GPS unit to go with it. I am trying to find the most useful software for the trip. One thing I want to use it for is directions. My son was trying to see if Microsoft Streets and Trips would work with it. Any suggestions? I know there a couple of you PDAers out there who made good use of them on their trip. Will the wi-fi work in Europe for me?

We bought an extra GB of memory at Best Buy type of store for about $50. We downloaded pics, used it for an alarm clock, and considered using it for language translation (didn't find one we liked in the short amount of time we had).

I find the Microsoft dictionaries perfectly usable - and if I'm reading an e-book in a foreign language, touching a word with the stylus pops up the translated equivalent.
Oh - and did I mention they're free?
