I'm one of the lucky few who have had the privilege of lunching with Elvira. She described herself and her attire so we'd spot her. We passed the info on to the host at the restaurant, and let's just say, that he had no problem immediately making a positive identification upon her arrival and he whisked her promptly to our table. Elvira, have I said too much? As to the physical descriptions of the others we can only guess!! But we sure had a lot of laughs over lunch that day, till they kicked us out to set up for dinner!

I hear from good authority that she is indeed planning a trip for this Fall and have been forewarned to travel in a country practically halfway 'round the world (I suppose so that I don't get trampled in the Loon scuffle). So we may have only 6 months to wait for a Loon report? Sigh!

I, too, wish to be a loon (well, at least not an UNOFFICIAL one). ; )

HI ~MARY~My husband often says that I am "loony" so joining the Loons seems like a natural progression, don't you think?
It is raw and windy and wet here and sleet is tapping on the windows, here I sit, reading about trips to Paris, Italy, oh boy...am I getting the travel bug, bad!

Hi~Candice~I think you would make a great Loon.

So when do you get to go on your next trip, C?

It is rainy, windy, blustering here. Blah. And all I can think about is how far away April is. It will probably be rainy, windy and blustery in Paris, too, but it will be Paris. Ahhh. Lunacy abounds.
