SNCF TGV Special?

Does anyone have any late info on the TGV special fares to be available Nov. 17? Such as how to access the deal on the Sncf website and any other information that would be helpful. Going from Paris to Marseille.
Thank you all very much,

Al O.

Hi alf,

I couldn't find any special fares for tomorrow.

What were you looking for?

I got an e-mail from sncf yesterday with special promotion fares for February travel, beginning November 17. Is that what you're referring to? The e-mail said the following fares were available starting Nov. 17 for train travel from the 4th of February to the 6th of March:

Dès le 17 novembre, réservez vos billets de train pour des voyages du 4 février au 6 mars inclus.
Notre sélection à prix Prem's :
PARIS <> GRENOBLE 25 €(5)
PARIS <> CHAMBERY 25 €(5)
LILLE <> LYON 25 €(5)

I didn't see anything that referred to special fares to Marseille, not even PREM fares, although if you keep watching one will likely come up.

I am referring to MorganB's post of 10/29/02 entitled 'SNCF Launches Low Cost TGV to Marseille' in which she describes the deal. I will try to reach her via this forum.
I also remember seeing a 19E promotion for Marseille in a box under the Prem fares, but it seems to be gone now.

Ira: I'm trying to get one way Paris to Marseille in most reasonable fashion on Dec. 20 or 19 or 21 in that order of choice.

Sincerely,
Al O.

BTW, if you buy your SNCF tickets online, you will receive their e-mails each month. I got the same announcement about the fares that StCirq did.

The PREM fares change all the time. Marseille is one of the top PREM fare destinations, so keep checking and it's bound to come up.

Hi Al,

The cheapest tickets are PREM fares.

They are currently offering 60E for 2cl, but you can get 1Cl for the same price on 12/20/2004.

Regular fare is 80E.
