Is your hairdryer 110/220v? If so, you need a 2-prong plug - you can purchase at any luggage store or Radio Shack.

If your hairdryer is only 110v, you will need to buy a transformer. Again, at any luggage store or Radio Shack. You would be better off buying a new hairdryer that is both 110/220v - probably cost you less than the cost of a transformer, but you still would need the plug adaptor.

I would avoid any type of shell fish as that is probably the most susceptable to having bacteria.

Drink lots of wine and have a great time!!!

I agree with the notion of carrying only dual-voltage appliances..makes things so much easier, no transformers to worry about, and all you need is the adaptor plug for the particular are you're in. Spain, as I recall, uses the "usual" two (round) prong plug found in most other Western European nations (except Britain).
