Ski trip to Austria

I am doing a ski trip to Austria next year in Feb 2020. I am thinking of spending 3 days in a ski resort and the rest of the time sight seeing. Other than Austria, where should I go and where is the best place to ski for beginners to intermediate in Austria? I am thinking of doing a 14 day trip.

Thank you for the suggestions

There are more than 200 ski areas all over Austria, from the Swiss border up to the Slovenian border, and another 100 in Switzerland, Germany, italy and Slovenia, just a few miles from the Austrian border.
I think it would be easier to define first your sightseeing trip and the airports where you will fly in and out (Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Venice, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Salzburg, Trieste, Treviso, Verona, or so) and to chose then a ski resort that fits into your itinerary.

Tauplitz is a nice ski resort, well suited for beginners. It's on the railway line to Hallstatt.

"Other than Austria, where should I go"

To ski at a different location or what?
