Skellig Michael with Toddler - safe?

Hello. I'm just wondering if it is safe to take a four year old to the monestary. I've read that the walk is unprotected, but not sure just how steep or narrow the path actually is.

It would not be safe. You will have to climb about 500 feet up ancient worn steps with no handrail. It is relatively safe if you do it yourself but not 100% safe-a bit of an adventure in fact. Still the few hours I spent on that ancient monastic site were well worth the climb.

Do not take your toddler to Skellig Michael. Arrange with your accommodation for babysitting.
