Siena Parking

We will be visiting by Siena shortly by car. On our last visit we were able to park inside the walls at our hotel but since we will be day triping this trip I have to find a place to park this time.

I seem to remember a pay lot just inside and to the left of Porto San Marco, am I remembering correctly? Any other suggestions? We will be coming in from the Montepulciano side.

13 days to go.

Rick

Rick.
I assume you will be traveling north on SS2(cassia). Follow the signs for SS2 north (Firenze). You will make a left at the stop light to connect with the super strada follow that road but do not get on the super strada. Right after the entrance to the super strada you will see a sign for campo parking (the sign will tell you if the parking garage is full). The multi level garage is only about 300 meters from the campo.

I was going to suggest the Campo parking garage. The walk into Siena itself is easy.

Rick.
Yes, maybe 20 meters from the porta take a right into the alley for the parking garage.
