Shorter Ring of Kerry drive?

I have been to the Ring of Kerry many years ago and we are returning to show our children the sights there. I would like to see "Ladies View" but I don't want to do the whole Ring....How far is Ladies View on the ROK? Is there a shorter drive for the Ring? Roads that will connect so we can shorten our drive? Can't recall how long it took to drive it before.... Thanks for the help.

Ladies View is about 5-7 miles south of Killarney.20 miles from Killarney is Kenmare and if you go from there to Sneem you can turn back then towards Killarney via Molls Gap-it looks a lot different on the way back. You could do that route in 2 hours.

You can cut throught the belly of the ROK. It is quite beautiful and desolate. There roads that bisect the peninsula so you could do half the ROK. Have a nice trip. K

I second Ardfert's suggestion.

We stayed in Kenmare (our favorite place in Ireland so far, but after only one trip, so we're not experts). We drove from Kenmare to Sneem and then inland (sorry, can't remember the road) to get to Moll's Gap and into Killarney National Park and then back to Kenmare. Depending on your stops, it's an easy 1/2 day trip. Try the Blue Bull restaurant in Sneem for lunch!
