Short trip to Portugal

My wife and I are planning a quick 4 day trip to Portugal in September. Any advice on where to go and what to do? We don't want a trip where we are driving around a lot and stressing about seeing too much. A trip filled with wine, good music, romantic moments will do us just fine.

4 days in Lisbon should do it, with a day trip to Sintra. The wine in Lisbon is as good as in the rest of Portugal.

I agree...Lisbon and Sintra would be great. Sintra is easy to get to on the train from Lisbon for a day trip. You could also take the bus to Evora for a day trip...

Thank you both. Any tips on what to do, see, party, eat in Lisbon?

Alternately, is there another city we should stay instead of Lisbon? I've heard there is a nice seaside resort area..is it worth going there instead?

You could also see Cascais/Estoril...but I imagine if you want to party Lisbon is the place to be.

I agree with jamikins: Get out of Lisbon and go to Cascais/easy by train and you can see some beautiful sea shore, great restraunts, etc. Be sure to eat a good Cataplana while you are there, unless you like big cities, of course..can mention the guest house we stayed at if you like. or google guest houses of portugal.

Go to Trip Advisor and/or google Casa de Pergola...wonderful place, right within walking distance of the train station, everything.
