Short Paris trip
Hi. Happened to stumble across airfare sale on Northwest RT Cleveland/Paris for $375 in April. Thinking this is too good to pass up!
A couple questions: will we be able to find accommodations in Paris without too much advance notice? Also, might consider taking train down to Loire Valley for a few days to relax and see chateau. Wondered on cost of round trip train ticket Paris-Tours-Paris on TGV?
Thanks for any advice.

You will probably have to purchase your plane ticket by a certain date to lock in the fare. That ought to give you time to find a hotel.
I'm not certain the TGV has a route in the Loire. We took a regular train so I can't provide advice on TGV fares.

Paris/Tours/Paris rt should be a little less than 100 euros, if I remember right.
The train ride takes about an hour. The TGV station is outside of Tours downtown (it's called St-Pierre-des-Corps), and to get to downtown Tours (if that's what you want to do), you need to hop on a connecting local train that takes about five minutes.
sncf.com will have the more exact fares.
