Shopping in October!
I would like to know if October is a good month for sales in Italy.

We are planning a trip for the first two weeks of OCtober and I would love to do some shopping too.

Sorry, but we never noticed any significant sales in either October 200o or 2002.

There are some outlet stores not far from Florence, that have discounts all the time.

Most of the sales I have seen are either in January or July. With that said elaine has an excellent point.
There are books dedicated to shopping in Italy and they do cover outlet shopping.
Have a nice trip...
