Where is the best place to shop in Rome, Florence, and Venice for designer clothes and hangbags for a great deal?

Handbags: Furla store in Florence. Nasty staff, but great handbags and incredible prices compared to here in the US!

Look for upscale Japanese tourists. Follow them.

I stayed at Fattoria Pagnana last year (www.fattoria-pagnana.com) and they are very close to the factory outlets of Gucci, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana - great prices and selection. I understand that another outlet very nearby will be opening late spring selling Fendi and Celine. <BR>Fattoria Pagnana was very helpful in giving me directions, hours etc when I stayed. Check with them.
