Share a Venicescape Tour?

Hello,
My wife and I are interested in taking the Venicescapes tour, "The Age of Decadence," for which information can be found at http://www.venicescapes.org/guided_w...ury_Venice.htm
This is a 5-hour walking tour focusing on 18th centry Venice. The minimum fee for two persons is steep ($250.00 but seems to be worth it). However, the cost is substantially less if split between 4 to 6 persons since each additional person is only $50.00. We could do this tour on Sat, Sun or Mon Aug 19, 20, or 21. Please let me know via this forum if you would be interested in sharing the tour. Thanks. Branton. Corona, California.

Blachman, We would love to do this tour but we won't be in Venice until September 19! It looks like a wonderful and informative tour. I did a post also looking for someone to share this with but had no replies. Good luck, please report if you do go with this tour. Anyone interested in sharing in September, contact us! Thanks & Good Travels, Shirley

Hi Shirley,

I saw your post. That's what gave me the idea! Best of luck in finding someone. I guess you and we are ships that don't quite pass in the night.

Hi Branton, Rick Steves rather ripped this tour as "way too long...". I guess it is only for history lovers. Will look for notes on your trip! If we can keep this alive, maybe we will get lucky!! Shirley, Waukesha, WI

Hi Shirley,

Well, let's check in with each other every week or so. It's got to be better than the chances of winning the lottery!
