Seville or Malaga next week!
We are a family with two kids (8 & 6 yo) planning 5-6 nights in Andalusia. We can fly either to Seville or Malaga this weekend and return back to Brussels on the 24th or 25th. Which city would you recommend more?
We would like to to get a flavour of the history, getaway from the rainy/windy/cold weather into pleasant temperatures, and enjoy the food. The idea to hire a car to drive few hours for a day-trip or overnight stay, e.g. Malaga to Nerja, Granada, etc., sounds appealing.
I understand that things will be closed over Christmas eve and day. In case we are still there, which city would be more alive? Which attractions would you recommend for the kids?
I look forward to your suggestions and ideas.
Thanks in advance!
Andrey

I would suggest that Seville is a far more beautiful city than Málaga.after Barcelona and Madrid, Malaga is the city that is getting the most tourism in Spain.Malaga has plenty of culture and have more museums than any other city in Andalusia.

Thanks Kajals for your input. It seems that we will spend three nights (two full days excluding travel) in Malaga. After that, we drive to Granada with a stopover in Nerja and overnight in Granda. The next day, we drive to Seville and stay three nights to get two full days excluding travel.
How does the plan sound?

It sounds wonderful!!! It is a pity you can't include Cordoba. It was my fav destination in Andalusia. But I understand you don't have time, Andalusia is really big. Nex time...
Enjoy Andalusia and have a lot of tapas for me as well!!

If you're interested in recommendations, we really enjoyed these two restaurants in Seville, for special dinners:
