We stayed at Casa del Maestro during holy week 2003 and found it to be an excellent retreat from the crowds. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The house is a classic, down to the two suits of light displayed, one on the ground floor and one on the second floor. The staff speaks English and is very accommodating. It's centrally located and a very good choice for Sevilla.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. I read the Travel & Leisure article which highly recommned Casa Numero 7 and mentioned how scarce reservations are, so I grabbed the one room they had left while I could. Taberna del Alabardero was not available. I still like the idea of Casa del Maestro, but I think the location of "CN7" is better. Now... if I can only score tickets to Carmen in Seville... Thanks again.
