Bedar, you are correct. I don't think that he posts here any more [at least not often] but somehow I have ended up on his mailing list so get to see some of the works that he puts on line and publicity for his exhibitions. he is part of the realistic school [not sure if that's the right name for it but you will get the idea from his work], and some is quite amazing.

Yes, Annhig, I especially like the one of the yellow capes. I won't be in Malaga for this exhibit but am going to write him. Perhaps we'll be able to get together for lunch in June. He mentioned a couple of years ago that he had painted in my cousin's splendid garden on the outskirts of Malaga. Thanks again. Most fortuitous that you gave that link to a Fodorite in Malaga !!!

Bedar - I'm so pleased to have been of help, and fancy that he has painted your cousin's garden. What an amazing co-incidence.
If/when you see him, please give him my best wishes. Though i am not an artist myself i love getting his e-mails and often show them to my DD, who does have artistic leanings. We were particularly taken by his recent Christmas painting but I can't work out a way to post it here. However, you may be interested in this article about him, featuring his amazingly detailed paintings of the Alhambra - which by a curious co-incidence may interest the OP as well, given the subject of this thread:
