Hi Jen...
Just to let you know, I'm sure Kenny tours is "legit".. We are going on our honeymoon to Ireland in September as well (we leave the 16th). We are going for two weeks, and booked the same package...Round trip air ( from Boston to Shannon, then out of Dublin, on Aer Lingus), automatic rental car, with the insurance on the car, 6 nites Town & Country B&B's for $684 pp...We are however; doing the second week on our own..But that price does include the rt air..
As far as booking your B&B's in advance, that won't be necessary, as there as tons of them to choose from who accept the vouchers, so you may want to book your first night, & then pick one where ever you decide to stay every night. You'd be surprised how much you can pack into a day of sightseeing.
Have a great trip.
Carol

Is Kenny Tours an American company? If so it's probably fine, I live in Dublin (Ireland) and couldn't find any list for them in the phone book or Yellow pages which makes may think theere musn't be based here. In case you haven't got it the officical Irish Tourist Bord Website is:
www.ireland.travel.ie
It may be of some use. Hope you have a good trip.

Boy, do I hate Aer Lingus. I had forgotten my hatred over the past few years, and flew with them again in January. Because of their incompetence, we got stuck in London overnight. It wasn't due to weather or mechanical failure, just pure stupidity.

And a friend's parents just flew Aer Lingus from Ireland to the U.S. They were so mad about what had happened on their trip that they could even TALK about it the other night! Can't wait to find out the details.

Meanwhile, I'm flying Continental to Ireland in April. Hopefully that will be a little less eventful.

Kenny Tours is located in Maryland but the owner is originally from Ireland. I called her to request a brochure and she is very nice and helpful. They use Aer Lingus as does Sceptre Tours who offers a similar package. I am really thinking about purchasing an air-car-b&b package from one of these companies but I would really love to hear positive/negative feed back from anyone who has gone before. Thanks in advance for all replys.
