Seeking advice on Porto, hotels plus

I have read some great trip reports…Ms. go, Progol, Mel. I must find MaiTai Tom’s. I hang on every word of Maribel’s.

years ago, I loved Lisbon, Belem and Sintra. Now…Porto.

not for wine or port, but I live for tiles, train stations, tiles in train stations, merdacos, supermarkets, church ceilings, and walking tours with or without food stops. So I have the right place, right?

would you advise Casual Raizes or Pousada do Porto? I read concerning comments about floods and street collapses near the latter, so do advise please.

i like off season but is December crazy rainy? All day or off and on?

thank you so much. Do I say Obrigada?

If you are female, obrigada. If male, obrigado. (You are basically saying "I am obliged," so the gender of the speaker matters.) I don't know the nicities of the response if you don't identify as male or female.
