Seattle to Paris low airfare

Just opened my weekly Travelzoo e-mail message to find that AA was offering RT from San Francisco or LA to London for $300. That's right, RT. The SF to London availability was gone shortly after noon. Not sure if there's still LA to London availability. Were any SF Fodorites lucky enough to see this offer before it sold out?

The travelzoo special was with which airline? We have a friend coming to visit us from Seattle in November...he's planning to travel SAS due to the nice reviews the SAS flight got here on the airlines forum...the price for that ticket (mid-November departure, mid-December return) was $588 + taxes, which still seems reasonable.
