seat plan for 777's
Can anyone tell me where to find the seat layout on an Air France Boeing 777 ? I will be flying for 12 hours non- stop, and where I sit makes a lot of difference. I used to find charts on the internet, but I can't find them anymore.

Thanks for help.

It looks like AF triple 7's have a 3-3-3 seating arangement, check out http://www.airfrance.com/us
click on the "our services" menu and then aircraft, then click on boeing at the top of the page in blue type.

don't count on sitting where you choose because your seat assignments may be changed when you get to the airport. My husband and I were supposed to sit in middle and aisle seat of the side and ended up in the middle and aisle seats of the middle three seats.

I honestly think that an AF Boeing 777 violates our constitutional rights that say we are to be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment. (Somenow getting fried in an electric chair is not considered cruel and unusual. I guess nothingis unusual if done enough; and cruel can be defined by the courts.)

I flew twice on a B777 - Atlanta Paris; Paris - Atlanta. The B777 seating configuration in sardine class is the worst I have ever experienced in all of my travels, except for Delta old MD 11, which was worse if anything could be.
The thought of 12 hours on a B777 simply blows my mind. I don't how you could arrange its, but the seats that are next to the galley on the side and the exit rows are much better.
But 90% of the seats are abominable.

The seating is so bad that I have a great deal of difficulty thinking about ever flying AF again.

Hi Kay...My husband and I are flying to Paris in June and we are flying United Airlines in a Boeing 777. If you go to Unitedairlines.com, and put the dates etc. for your flight they will find flights for you to choose from. Also, after you choose a particular flight they show your itineary and you can choose your seats to reserve. Click on reserve seats and an entire chart of seats of the 777 is available for you to look at. You do not have to purachase the ticket to see the seats available. HOpe this helps..
Phyllis

we flew to paris on a 777 when they first came out. to our amazement, when we got on the plan, instead of going to the right, they pointed left...oh my god!! they put us in first class. there were so many gadets and screens, i never slept...even though the seat fully reclined. i'm not trying to boast, but i have always wanted to tell someone about it!!! i'm sure that will never happen again.

The reason I am going to fly Air France is because it it the only airline I can find that has a non-stop both ways between Los Angeles to Paris, and whenever I have had a stop on the way there have been delays and we end up spending 6 or 8 hours in an airport, and a 12 hr flight is enough for me!
Thanks for the help, everybody.
