I am thinking of going to visit my daughter who lives in London over Easter. She would like to get out of the city. Maybe to Scotland or Ireland. She does not want to go to big cities. this is all a bit last minute so I am looking for suggestions. We will be coming from NY. we will have about 5 days. The last time we visited over easter we went to the Cotswolds stayed in a B&B and drove around.
any help would be appreciated

take a ryan air flight to dublin and stay in wicklow which has many small towns.its not to far from dublin and is beautiful at any time of year.

Having been to both Scotland and Ireland, IMHO I would say Scotland. The scenery in Scotland is unbeatable.

IN a way, it doesn't really matter...you will see new and lovely places, whichever you choose....
