The Scavi Tour takes you underneath St. Peter's to a Roman necropolis with tombs of many families and what is believed to be the tomb of St. Peter. It is a rare opportunity, as only about 100 people per day are admitted, as opposed to thousands touring the Vatican and St. Peter's. I highly recommend this tour.
