Scandinavia with a toddler?
We are going to a wedding in August outside of Oslo and plan to travel before/after with our 3 year old. 7-14 days - don't think we want to stay in Norway the whole time and don't think he'd love a boat trip to look at Fjords. Would love suggestions as to where we should go instead/in addition to Oslo. thanks, Julie

Alrighty then. We now plan to do Norway in a Nutshell with our 3 year old, but we're going to take it slow. Train to Myrdal, spend the night in Flam. Boat fjords the next day, spend night at Stalheim Hotel, Day 3 head to Bergen. Does anyone know if there are overnight ferries from Bergen to Copenhagen?

Like scandinavianpackages posted, there are no overnight ferries between the two cities.
We flew Bergen-CPH with Sterling Airlines (which has since filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations) for ~$90/person. You can try SAS, as they fly the same route too. Flight is about 1.5 hrs.

yes, our favorite part of Oslo was Frogner Park. We were in town for a wedding so ended up not having a lot of time for sightseeing. The Opera house was really neat.
