Saturday Cheap Lunch by the Tate Modern?
Hello! Traveling to London this weekend and looking for a cheap, good place to have lunch near the Tate Modern. I am flexible by what is defined as "near," but in the interest of a packed weekend with little time, I would like to limit any wasted moments on too much transport. Thanks for any advice!

And if those don't appeal, within a couple of hundred yards are a Greek souvlaki restaurant, a Pizza Express, an EAT sandwich bar, a Youngs pub offering the usual sort of pub lunches and a range of sandwich and snack places at Gabriel's Wharf (though that involves sitting outside, which might not be the thing to do this coming weekend - the weather's definitely on the seasonal turn).

The Pizza Express Patrick mentioned has floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the river! Nice economical option for lunch. Here is the website with sample menus so you can see if it might work for you http://www.pizzaexpress.co.uk/indexf.htm

We were at the Tate Modern on Monday to try the new slides. It opened on TUESDAY!!! Press preview was on Monday. They look so cool and will be the high point of many a kids trip to London (sad but true!!).
There are slides from each of the 4 levels to the ground floor of the Tate. You must get a free timed ticket for the slides.
