Santorini day trip to Paros or Mykonos possible?
Is it possible to do a day trip from Santorini to Paros or Mykonos?
I already have 5 nights accommodation booked in Santorini so just wanting a day trip there & back. I gave no idea how far the islands are away from each other.

Sometimes it is possible to visit Ios, Naxos or Paros on a daytrip depending on the time of year, although your time ashore might be short before you have to be back at the port for the return to Santorini. It's most likely to work in high season when ferry use is at its highest. Ios is closest, then Naxos, then Paros. Mykonos is too far and the ferry is too infrequent to be a possibility.
You will have to look at the ferry schedules to know for sure: http://www.gtp.gr It's advisable to check before you make your way to the ferry port to be sure there have not been any cancellations.

"it's impossible to reach them by ferry in one day and to also visit a few places."
Not impossible at all. Naxos is between Ios and Paros in terms of distance from Santorini. There are ferries leaving Santorini for Naxos as early as 8:30am, and there are ferries leaving Naxos for Santorni as late as 8pm. The trip takes about 2 hours each direction. Although this is not a lot of time, you WILL have enough time to "visit a few places". Keep in mind, however, that you will have to plan carefully. These ferries are not available at these hours every day of the week. As I've mentioned, you can check here to see what's available while you're there: http://www.gtp.gr
